Ridgewood Electric has successfully used HyperOffice as an alternative to Microsoft Exchange. Ridgewood Electric wanted to continue to use Outlook and share calendars and contacts company wide. The capital expenditure for an Exchange server was not cost effective for them. HyperOffice allows Ridgewood Electric to continue to use their Outlook organization system while using HyperOffice as their hosted server. This gives them the additional benefit of having thier workspaces easily available anywhere they have an internet connection.
