Contact Support

Contacts organize information for the people and businesses you want to communicate with. Within the portal there are two types of contacts: Personal and Group. Personal contacts are private and cannot be shared with other members of the portal. Group contacts are shared with other members of the group. Members of each group are displayed as contacts under each group. You can distinguish the group member contacts from other contacts by the highlighted ribbon.

Use contacts to store the email addresses, work and home addresses, multiple phone numbers, pictures, and any other information that relates to the contact. There are approximately 30 standard fields of information that can be store with each contact. If needed, additional fields can be added to the Group or Personal section.

Contacts can be organized through the use of categories. This enables the user to quickly find contacts. There is no limit to the number of categories that can be associated with each contact.

Items such as documents, tasks, or calendar events can be interlinked to the contact. This allows you to create a single view point to other items within the portal.

Microsoft Outlook users can synchronize contacts between Outlook and the portal using Outlook Synchronization. Personal contacts will be synced with the Personal Folder Contacts and groups contacts will appear as sub-folders under the Personal Folder Contacts.
