The Challenge |
The main concern for Cindy Kessler, CEO of Clinical Trials, was scheduling. With employees
Previously, Clinical Trials Management was on board with a program that was more specific to the industry of clinical research. However they found it to be too specific and not actually meeting any of the requirements they had. They tried using Microsoft Office as an alternate; however, the constant changes that employees made to the calendar caused the software to crash. Although physically safe from Hurricane Katrina, all the employees were disconnected with each other. Nobody had access to any sort of information or contact with anybody, unless they had their cell phone numbers. Kessler decided it was time to start another round of research. |

The Solution |
Cindy compared HyperOffice with several other solutions and found that HyperOffice had a "great scheduling tool, was dynamic enough to grow with the company, able to handle multiple changes, easy to access, and not expensive". Cindy regrets not having HyperOffice when Hurricane Katrina hit. Now, there is a central area of communication and a central area for contacts in case another disaster occurs. HyperOffice is easy to use and easy to adapt to. Cindy appreciated the flexibility of being able to turn off certain features that she wasn't ready to introduce to the company yet. Now, all the employees are able to manage the schedules of all the physicians, monitors, and coordinators all in one system, eliminating all confusion. |
