Let Your Business Be All It Can Be

Military deployment doesn’t have to mark the end of an entrepreneur’s dream.

The Veterans Corporation, which is dedicated to helping military members sustain or suspend their small business when called to active duty, has added the HyperOffice program to its website, Deploy Proof Your Business.

The program makes it possible for owners in the military to communicate with employees and clients, plan projects, and share and edit documents from any Internet access point abroad.

Keep Your Premiums in Check

A new health-care offering from Guardian Life helps small and midsize business owners eliminate the guesswork of estimating future health-care expenses by locking into a second-year premium renewal rate when signing up.

Traditional plans often require owners to estimate their future expenses, which can be challenging in a time in which premiums costs have outpaced inflation, the company said. But the Guardian Premium Protect, a two-year medical program for companies with 51 to 150 employees, does away with that practice.
