The Mail Section is complete with all the tools and features you expect from a first-class mail service. Let's take a look at what you can do in this section.

Mailboxes

Your mail folders are listed on the left pane starting with your Inbox. If your Email Plus account was migrated in from another service, all of your previous mail folders should be here as well. To create a new folder, simply click "New Folder". The Quarantine folder is where you are notified of suspicious and malicious content.

Labels is a neat tagging system that lets you quickly organize and find email. Create as many labels as you'd like and label your email as you go.

On the top of the left pane, you have a few options:

  • Click "Compose" to start a new email
  • Click the refresh button to check for new email - don't worry, Email Plus is constantly delivering all new email you receive
  • Click the settings button to access Mail Settings

When you select one or more email, you'll have options such as:

  • Move to Spam
  • Mark as Read/Unread
  • Delete
  • Move to (folder)
  • Label as...

Mail Viewer

Clicking on any email will slide in the mail viewer. On the top of the email, you have a few options:

  • Clicking on the pop-out button next to the subject of the email will pop the message out in its own window
  • Clicking the contacts icon will add the sender to your Contacts
  • Clicking the flag icon will flag (or unflag) this email as necessary

To the top-right of the email is the reply button as well as a drop-down of many other options [highlighted in red].

Composing an Email

The email composer gives you no shortage of tools and options.

Circled above are CC (carbon-copy) and BCC (blind-carbon-copy) if you require those fields for your email. Right above those options is the "Save as Draft" button if you aren't quite ready to send your email yet. If you have contact categories, simply start typing the name of the category and auto-fill will display your category.

The email composer toolbar gives you many options including bold, italicize, underline, bullets, and even HTML editing.

Next to the "Send" button is where you can attach files to your email. If your account includes document storage, you can attach documents from your personal document storage.
