If your service provider previously provided you email service through Google Apps, your data has most likely undergone a migration process.

Migrating into Email Plus from Google Apps is an advanced, under-the-hood process. Email Plus' migration technology allows service providers to provide a highly-secure authorization key to establish a sort of pipeline between their Google Apps accounts and Email Plus. Your account is created with the same username as before and the migration begins.

  1. Your account is created on Email Plus with the same username
  2. Mail Folders are read from your Google account and re-created on your new Email Plus account
  3. All of your email is migrated through - this means that even as you send & receive new email from your Google account, those same email will also be migrated through to your Email Plus account
  4. Same goes with your contacts
  5. And your calendars
  6. Even after all of your mail, contacts, and calendars have been migrated over, you can continue to use your Google account and your Email Plus account will continue to sync all new data

And that's it! Once your service provider switches platform, all of your mail, contacts, and calendars will already be in your new Email Plus account for you to pick up right where you left off. In some cases, you will need to create a new password for your Email Plus account but after that, you'll be off and running.

To configure your mail client, be it Outlook, Apple Mail, iPhone Mail, Android Mail, or whichever mail clients you use, instructions are provided under Email Plus Setup to help you update settings to continue your business as usual.
