The Quarantine protects from hazardous email content such as viruses, trojans and other malicious forms of malware. If an email has been placed in the quarantine folder, it is likely for good reason. If, however, the message is believed to be legitimate, retrieve the contents by following the instructions in the text document attached to the original email. A link will be provided for accessing and downloading the email's contents normally.

The Quarantine folder is available in mail clients when an account has been configured using the IMAP or ActiveSync protocol.
