Outlook does not migrate/download old emails over unless they are viewed in the HyperOffice Web interface, i.e. in order to download HyperOffice emails older than August 21, 2005 you need to first open these emails in your HyperOffice account. All emails received on/after August 22, 2005 will automatically be downloaded by Outlook.
It is not necessary to subscribe to HyperOffice’s Trash folder unless you need access to messages that were deleted while using the HyperOffice interface.
Click the "Send and Receive" button located at the top of the Microsoft Outlook toolbar to manually check for new incoming messages at any time. By default, Outlook is configured to check for new messages every three minutes.
It is recommended to set Outlook to download email headers only. This option will make Email sync faster, as the user would only download emails that he/she reads. WARNING: if you need ‘offline access’ to messages that you have not already read, you will need to configure Outlook to download entire messages and not just the headers; otherwise, the emails body will not be accessible offline:
a. From the Tools menu, select Send/Receive, Send/Receive Settings, and Define Send/Receive Groups.
b. The Send/Receive Groups dialog appears. Select a group that contains your IMAP account, then click Edit.
c. Under Accounts, select your IMAP account.
d. In the list, select the check box for each folder you want to include when checking e-mail, and then select Download complete item including attachments.
