The company announcements are linked to the group news of the default portal group. This is the group that the system creates at sign up along with the account.
Only the owner and the administrator of the group have access to the group’s administration tools and are the only ones who can modify the group’s news section.
To modify company announcements, follow these steps:
Click the Groups tab on the left navigation bar.
Click on the Group Memberships icon. The Active Memberships page appears.
Click on the name of your default portal group to access its homepage. The Group homepage appears.
Click the Modify News Headlines button on the lower right corner of the group's homepage. The News page appears.
Click the new headline button. The Create News Headline page appears.
Enter the title and the body of the news headline
Click the Create Headline button.
The new headline will appear on the group's group news section and on the company announcements section on the users personal desktops.
Please note that this overlay happens only with the default group in your company account. On your desktop, click a link in the Company Announcement area to view the announcement.
