Create a new Note

Title

The title text field is where you enter the title of the note you want to create. The title of the note should be preferably relevant to the contents of the note to be created for easy reference later on.

Note

The note field in the Create a New note page gives the description of the note and includes the real information which you want to store. This field is a multi-line text field allowing you to write as detailed an explanation or information as possible.

Evaluate Description as HTML

This option allows you to render the note as an HTML note, this provides an easier way to display the information in Web-Browsers. Select this checkbox to use this option.

Path

The path field allows you to place the note in a relevant folder or at the root level ('My Notes' homepage) by navigating the various options in the combo box. If there are any previously created folders at the root level you will see them in the options of the combo box. You can select a root level if you want the note to be stored as an independent reference.

There are three buttons at the bottom of the page:

Create Note: Click the Create Note button when you complete filling both the title and the note text fields. This stores the note you created which can be accessed at a later point in time.

Create Note and Add Another: Click the Create note and add another button when you want to add multiple notes apart from the one you just created for referencing. For example, you might want to add information on various customers such as their birthdays etc. For each customer you can add the name of the customer as the title and the birthday as the note. If you have multiple customers you would require multiple notes.

Cancel: Click the Cancel button to cancel creating a new note and return to the 'My Notes' homepage.
