Email Filters

To help you locate a message quickly, you can filter the messages in any of your folders in the mailbox view.

When you use the filter option, only those messages that meet your filter criteria display. For a more general search, click the Search button.

Usage Guidelines

To use the filter option, follow these steps:

  1. From the My Email page, click the Advanced button at the bottom of the screen. The Filter window appears with the various filter criteria that you can use to locate a specific message.

  2. Use these fields in the Filter window to locate your message(s):

New Messages

Select if you want to filter your read or unread messages.

Flagged Messages

Select if you want to view only messages that are flagged messages or unflagged messages.

Sender

Type the email address or name of the sender you want to find, or type the first few letters of the email address or name of the sender you want to find. Only messages that meet your search criteria will appear.

Subject

Use this field to filter your messages by subject. Type the subject of the email you want to find.

Date Range

Enter a date range for the messages you want to find. Click the Calendar icon to select a Calendar range of dates from a calendar.
