Why doesn’t my username/password work when I try to login to HyperOffice?
Please be aware that the location of your login page is dependent on your HyperOffice Subscription. If you have signed up for a company portal you need to login at http://yourcompany.hyperoffice.com or, if you signed up for a custom url you may need to login at office.yourcompanyname.com, on the other hand if you signed up for an individual HyperOffice account, you can login at www.hyperoffice.com. Alternatively, if you have forgotten your password, you can use the Forgot Your Password link located at the HyperOffice and your company’s portal login pages.
I forgot my username and password to my company’s portal?
Each company portal account created with HyperOffice includes a postmaster user account. Please access the Forgot Your Password link, located at http://mycompany.hyperoffice.com, and use ‘postmaster’ as a username. An email will be sent to your alternative email address (assuming you are the administrator) with your admin password, you can then login to your portal using ‘postmaster’ as a username and the password you just received.
How does the password recovery process work?
In order to retrieve your password, please click on the link forgot your password link on the login page, then enter your username and answer the hint question you set up during the sign up process. If your account was created by an administrator, you may want to contact the administrator directly and have them reset your password.
Is there another Hyperoffice individual login page that does not contain any pictures and text?
Please login at http://fast.hyperoffice.com
When you answer the hint question correctly, your password will be sent to your existing email address you provided at sign up
Why do I keep getting the ‘session expired error’?
A user might be kicked out of his account due to a login session expired error because of one of the following:
The user is using the AOL browser. AOL has raised all the security settings in its browser which prevents the HyperOffice cookies from being stored on the user's computer and that's why the 'session expired' error keeps popping up in all HyperOffice pages. We advise the user to connect to the Internet using his AOL account but use Internet Explorer instead of the AOL browser.
The user has his Internet explorer security settings set to 'high'. To check these settings, click on tools on the internet explorer menu, and choose the privacy tab on the internet options window. Verify that the settings are set to medium. If you are required to keep the setting on High, please enable a custom profile for HyperOffice under trusted sites.
The user is behind a firewall that does not allow cookies to be stored on the user's computer, we advise the user to configure the firewall to allow all cookies from the HyperOffice site.
The user logs into his account on two different browser windows then signs out on one of the windows, he is automatically logged out on the other window.
The user lost his Internet connection.
The user was inactive for 30 minutes.
Why does the system take me to the last area I accessed before logout?
For your convenience, when you log out, HyperOffice remembers the last section you have accessed and attempts to take you to the same section the next time you log in.
