When using file permissions:
You can set and control security attributes at the file level in addition to folder level.
Only the group owner, group administrator or the file owner can revert to a previous version of a file. Refer to the Features Access Privileges in this help file for additional information.
To set the users permissions on a file, follow these steps:
Access the Modify File Details page. Refer to Accessing the Features topic in this help file for additional information.
Verify the permissions necessary to set file permissions of a file. For additional information, refer to the Features Access Privileges in this help file.
Click the manage permissions button at the bottom of the screen
Modify the different users permissions on the file:
Uncheck the ‘Reset inherited permissions’ for a group user
Choose Allow or Deny from the Read drop down menu
Choose Allow or Deny from the Write drop down menu
Choose Allow or Deny from the Delete drop down menu
Click on the Modify button at the bottom of the page
Note: If a user’s Reset inherited permissions column is checked, the user’s permissions on the file will be the same as the user’s permissions on the folder where the file resides.
