You can use the Search Contacts feature to locate a particular contact by the Name, Email, Address, or Company name fields in your contact list. This feature allows you to easily sift through dozens of contact names and arrive at the required information through the use of the whole word or a part of the word. The Search Contacts feature is available on almost all pages in the My Contacts page.
From the My Contacts page, in the Search Contacts area, type the criteria you want to search for in the Search For field.
In the Search In list, select the field you want to search in.
OPTIONAL: If you want your search to include only EXACT matches, select the Only return exact matches check box.
Click the Search button.
Note: The
search function is optimized to enable users to find a name by entering
even a part of the entire name. For example, if you are not sure how to
spell Jeffrey, simply enter the word Jeff and the system will find and
display both Jeff and Jeffrey as results. Users can also specify an exact
match if needed.
