How Tom King is Building His Company Around HyperOffice
"For the last number of months, I've been sharing how my startup Exlabs has been using HyperOffice rather than the more expensive Exchange Server and SharePoint Server options. Until recently, we've been using the web-based features of HyperOffice. Last month I told you we'd migrate the benefits to our desktop as well.
"We are now using the HyperShare feature. Simply download HyperShare to your Windows desktop (now with new support for Windows Vista users and developers like Exlabs). Well, it's been two months and HyperShare has been working great on both our Windows XP and Windows Vista systems. Any changes I make in my Microsoft Outlook client at the office are carried forward via HyperShare to my Outlook client at home and update my HyperOffice profile as well.
"I wish I could share more, but it frankly just works! Soon I'll give HyperDrive a similar test run. In the meantime, I'm preparing a list of things I'd like HyperOffice to improve. Let's help this company continue its great path of improvement and productivity."
