Zero Scheduling Conflicts at Winn-Dixie with HyperOffice

Winn-Dixie, the grocery retail chain operates through 525 stores and 4 distribution centres spread across the South-Eastern United States. Though offices are in mutiple locations, one can hardly find any collaboration issues at the grocery chain. Employees at Winn-Dixie have to schedule and communicate with colleagues across business groups on a regular basis for meetings, events etc. Such cross group activities have to be managed such that no scheduling conflicts arise resulting in lost work hours.

Scheduling conflicts can be mitigated to a great extent if agendas of everyone involved in the team activity are consulted before fixing an event. Winn-Dixie uses the calendar overlay facility to view everyone’s agendas simultaneously and decide on an appropriate meeting time which is then relayed across the team. After adopting HyperOffice, there are zero scheduling and collaboration issues and absolutely no time wastage at Winn-Dixie. The retail chain is presently experiencing a surge in productivity with 'simple online collaboration' through HyperOffice.

On May 1st, startup Exlabs officially entered “dark mode” to develop “the next big thing” for both individuals and enterprises alike. In order to communicate and collaborate amongst our team members, we researched and selected HyperOffice over the combined benefits of Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Sharepoint Server. Over the next 12 months, I’m going to share how HyperOffice is impacting our path to greatness from “Day One” without requiring IT administrator knowledge.

Prior to founding Exlabs, Tom pioneered syndicated computer talk radio in the 1990s with "Tom King's CompuTalk", launched a dot-com startup and handled strategic marketing for AMD. He has a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and is a member of American Mensa."
